The first step in our journey was to understand where we are at, in order to inform future action. We established our current plastic footprint and committed to pledging a percentage of every product purchase towards the removal of nature-bound plastic waste.

We fund the elimination low-value plastic waste from oceans and landfills through our collaboration with vetted rePurpose Impact Projects, which are empowering waste workers to tackle plastic waste in local communities.

We fund waste management facilities and empower local communities in geographies without the necessary infrastructure to remove, recover, and recycle plastic waste that would have otherwise remained in the environment for centuries.

Next, we fund programs that enable these ventures to scale up plastic waste avoidance, removal, recovery, and recycling efforts. STEP 1: SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
Since 2017 we have championed a range of environmental friendly decisions and continue to tread this path through our processes, products, material sourcing and investments.
Our raw materials are sustainably sourced. We also assist and guide our vendors to implement policies, practices and process to ensure a green impact on our environment. We follow a green rating system for our vendors to prioritize such purchases which are compliant as per GRS, GOTS, BCI & FSC.
STEP 2: THE PLASTIC ACTION SHIFT
Building on rePurpose Global’s belief that businesses can positively impact the environment and society, Unique Tags has committed to Plastic Action. Through our partnership, we are taking the first step to systemic environmental change — financing waste management infrastructure and empowering marginalized workers fighting the plastic waste crisis on the frontlines.
STEP 3: THE FINAL DESTINATION
We have introduced a sustainable product range across all our product categories. We advocate the use of recycled and recyclable products and are working constantly with our partners and customers to create a circular economic model, which allows for every trim of a garment and accessory to be either recycled or up-cycled, for a better and greener earth.
