The first step in our journey was to understand where we are at, in order to inform future action. We established our current plastic footprint and committed to pledging a percentage of every product purchase towards the removal of nature-bound plastic waste.

We fund the elimination of as much plastic waste from oceans and landfills as we produce through our collaboration with vetted rePurpose Impact Projects, which are empowering waste workers to tackle plastic waste in local communities.

When we choose to take action on our plastic waste, we create meaningful impact in a world without borders. We fund waste management facilities and empower local communities in geographies without the necessary infrastructure to remove, recover, and recycle plastic waste that would have otherwise remained in the environment for centuries.

First, we work with vetted and experienced circular economy and waste management ventures. Next, we fund programs that enable these ventures to scale up plastic waste avoidance, removal, recovery, and recycling efforts. Finally, through thorough due diligence, we ensure adherence to global environmental and labor standards.
It takes an army to fight the ongoing plastic waste crisis, and with rePurpose Global, we are able to create tangible environmental and socio-economic impact. STEP 1: SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
Since launching in 2017, Jamie's Farm has been committed to sustainable and organic sourcing. Partnering with local farms, they carefully vet each ingredient for quality and agricultural practices. To further their impact, Jamie's Farm has partnered with rePurpose Global to go plastic-neutral and fund the mechanical recycling infrastructure of PET waste.
STEP 2: THE PLASTIC NEUTRAL SHIFT
Building on rePurpose Global’s belief that businesses can positively impact the environment and society, Jamie's Farm New York has gone Plastic Neutral. Through our partnership, we are taking the first step to systemic environmental change — financing waste management infrastructure and empowering marginalized workers fighting the plastic waste crisis on the frontlines.
STEP 3: THE FINAL DESTINATION
With thoughtful sourcing at the heart of its business, Jamie's Farm will continue to educate their consumers on the environmental benefits of responsible farming practices, and to encourage the support of local farms. While achieving Plastic Neutrality is one step towards improving the environmental impact of Jamie's Farm, it's certainly not the end.
