The first step in our journey was to understand where we are at, in order to inform future action. We established our current plastic footprint and committed to pledging a percentage of every product purchase towards the removal of nature-bound plastic waste.

We fund the elimination of as much plastic waste from oceans and landfills as we produce through our collaboration with vetted rePurpose Impact Projects, which are empowering waste workers to tackle plastic waste in local communities.

Going Plastic Neutral is a continuous commitment, and that’s why we are working with rePurpose Global to develop a future roadmap reducing the use of virgin plastics in our products — and build a more circular business and delivery model.

When we choose to take action on our plastic waste, we create meaningful impact in a world without borders. We fund waste management facilities and empower local communities in geographies without the necessary infrastructure to remove, recover, and recycle plastic waste that would have otherwise remained in the environment for centuries.
SUPERCHARGING SYSTEMIC IMPACT
First, we work with vetted and experienced circular economy and waste management ventures. Next, we fund programs that enable these ventures to scale up plastic waste avoidance, removal, recovery, and recycling efforts. Finally, through thorough due diligence, we ensure adherence to global environmental and labor standards.
It takes an army to fight the ongoing plastic waste crisis, and with rePurpose Global, we are able to create tangible environmental and socio-economic impact. STEP 1: SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
We acknowledge that the beauty industry is one of the world’s biggest contributors to plastic packaging, most of which are not recyclable and end up in our planet’s landfills or oceans. Our mission at Beautaniq Beauty is to make a change for good. We are committed to using earth friendly packaging that are recycled or fully recyclable.
STEP 2: THE PLASTIC NEUTRAL SHIFT
Extending on its belief that businesses can have a positive impact on the environment and society, Beautaniq Beauty has gone Plastic Neutral. Through its partnership with rePurpose Global, the company is empowering marginalized workers to better tackle plastic pollution in their communities.
STEP 3: THE FINAL DESTINATION
We are on an ongoing journey to do better, we are currently using Ocean Waste Plastic, upcycled sugarcane polyethylene and glass. A move towards zero waste is the ultimate goal. By going Plastic Neutral, Beautaniq Beauty is taking positive steps towards that goal and creating a circular packaging model that ensures minimal negative impact on the environment.
